FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Find answers and start your journey with confidence.

What if my child doesn’t like the class?

That’s okay! We offer a free trial class so your child can experience the environment with no pressure. Most children end up loving it once they see how fun and empowering it is — but if it’s not the right fit, there’s no obligation.

My child isn't athletic. Can he/she still participate in martial arts?

Absolutely! Our programs are designed for all levels — no prior experience or athletic background needed. We focus on building confidence, coordination, and resilience step-by-step, at each child’s own pace.

Is martial arts violent?

Not at all. At Inevat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we teach non-violent self-defense based on leverage and control, not punches or kicks. Kids learn how to avoid conflict, stay calm, and protect themselves in a safe and respectful way.

Are these martial arts classes fun?

Yes! Especially for kids, we combine discipline with fun. Classes include games, challenges, and positive reinforcement — all while teaching valuable life skills like respect, focus, and perseverance.

What’s a good age for a child to start martial arts?

Children can start as early as 3 years old in our Mighty Mights program. We adapt the teaching style to each age group, making it engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful from the very beginning.

Can martial arts cause injury?

Safety is our top priority. Our instructors are highly trained to maintain a safe and controlled environment, and techniques are taught with care and supervision. Injuries are rare, and classes are structured to build skill without unnecessary risk.
